POSITION SUMMARY:
The Corrosion Engineer is responsible for the ensuring that all chemical programs, corrosion monitoring, inspections, and relevant operational audits, are carried out in accordance with all HOCL and regulatory requirements.
The Corrosion Engineer will also monitor established KPI's regarding corrosion control, improve and update KPI's to ensure maximum efficiency, issue timely reporting as stipulated per relevant Integrity Management strategies and procedures, and ensure that all relevant data is collected, evaluated, cataloged, and disseminated accordingly utilizing SAP and ancillary software.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and describe 3 – 7 core areas of responsibility. (add more rows as needed) Estimated % time
· Definition of and compliance with 5 year, 12 month, 3 month and 28 day plans, regarding all activities required by the Technical Asset Integrity Maintenance system 5
· Provide input on budget requirements for maintenance planning to the Technical Integrity Superintendent. 10
· Oversee the continued integrity/safety of the containment systems and aspects of the DW assets 15
· Responsible for the continuous revision of the asset integrity program to ensure effectivity throughout and inspection focus on higher risk areas. 15
· Oversee all activities required to successfully achieve objectives in the asset integrity program including:
Chemical, RCA and documentation input to Meridium,
Chemical system performance and tracking on the CEP including IOW trending / control monitoring utilizing Spotfire and issuing action plans to correct deviations
Oversight of, and participation in, offshore audits and inspections
Spares QC and Auditing – issue recommendations for spares preservation
Oversight of fabric maintenance requirements and corrective actions
Improvements in systems engineering and supplying MOC requirements40
· Work closely with offshore personnel and subcontractors to ensure effective corrosion prevention and monitoring 10
· Interface with auditors and regulators concerning the corrosion system program. 5
